Burgin Streetman, Rumble’s resident copy-rumbler, is a writer, blogger, and marketing and public relations/social media expert. She spent a decade in New York City working in book publishing and was the Director of Marketing and PR for one of the largest independent publishers in the world before moving to San Antonio to start a family. Here, she worked for the advertising firm, Guerra DeBerry Coody, where she was in charge of new business and non-profit public relations. Since leaving to write full-time and focus on raising her son, she’s written for The San Antonio Express-News and The San Antonio Current, and currently blogs about children’s books at Vintage Kids’ Books My Kid Loves. “If I had two words to describe the way that I rumble, they would be CREATIVE and FAST. I could throw in FUNNY, too, but then, I’d just be bragging. I love to write and sew and watch movies and read to my son. Oh, and if I was left with only one album, ever, in the entire world it would be David Bowe’s Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. Respectively.” |
